2013 Process
Support and vote for disease research projects to provide microgrants
Bright and highly motivated high school students interested in certain diseases are fundraising for research related to their diseases of focus: autism, breast cancer, and type 1 diabetes (chosen by students).
The six research project applications for the three diseases are from Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Harvard University, Johns Hopkins University, Kyungpook National University (Korea), University of Michigan, and Western University.
In each disease category, only one of the projects which gets the most votes will receive the microgrants
